Most consumers in the United States would encouraged personal data protection rights just like those established last year by the Western european Union’s General Data Protection Legislation (GDPR), according to recent study from SAS .
The report was based on data from the survey of 525 adults in the usa.
Some 73% associated with respondents say their concern on the privacy of their personal data has grown over the past few years, and 67% concur that the US government should do a lot more to protect data privacy.
The majority of US consumers surveyed would like the information protection rights granted by the GDPR.
