Marketers are happier and more successful when they’re learning. That’s a truth: In the recently published Marketer Happiness Research from MarketingProfs, all of us found that marketers who positively seek out learning opportunities are more likely to really feel happier and more fulfilled in both their particular personal and their professional lifestyles.
Another recent study , conducted by LinkedIn, found that will “employees who spend time at work studying are 39% more likely to feel successful and successful and 21% very likely to feel confident and happy. inch
But how to make period for all this learning when wish already having trouble keeping our mind above water with our day-to-day obligations?
Podcasts are one of the most effective ways to learn. They’re a studying medium that’s easy to access (you can not need any special tools), transportable (all you need is your phone), plus economical (yeah, free).
A podcast not only allows you to start learning on the go but also gives you a chance to do some of your most efficient multitasking. You can study while you’re driving to work, going for a stroll, riding the train, mowing the particular lawn, exercising, or folding washing. (Plus, research has shown that exercising soon after learning something assists improve the long-term retention of those abilities. ) It’s a win-win all around.
But where to even begin? With the thousands of podcasts available, determining where to start can feel a little mind-boggling.
So I took an incredibly formal poll of the MarketingProfs personnel (meaning, I sent out an all-staff email) to determine their favorite podcasts. We have compiled a shortlist of probably the most popular podcasts.
Yet don’t think that it’s all work, function, work. There are plenty of nonwork-related podcasts on the market that just make for good old-fashioned hearing. I’ve divided the list of eighteen podcast into three sections:

- One for fiction (the modern-day equivalent of old-timey sound dramas)
